Are you a runner that wants to get involved in the community and loves running in groups?

Kintec Salmon Arm will be hosting run groups starting this spring and we are looking for avid runners to lead our groups.
Group leaders will lead groups of up to 10 runners through the streets or trails of Salmon Arm and the surrounding area.
Group leaders will be responsible for:
– performing a head count before, during and after a run and ensuring that all participants are accounted for.
– Picking a route or trail network that is appropriate the skill and fitness level of the group you will be leading.
– Delivering a memorable experience to all participants.
Run instruction and group lead experience are not a necessities. A great attitude and a love of running are.
Group leaders will receive a free pair of running shoes for each 12 week commitment (one day a week) plus will get staff pricing on all other purchases.
We are looking for leaders for the following groups:
Beginner Runner – up to 5 km on the road or light path.
Intermediate Runner – up to 12 km on the road or light path.
Beginner Trail – up to 5 km on the local trails.
Intermediate Trail – up to 10 km on local and surrounding trails.
